Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is much better than Sony Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Huawei Mate X2 has a newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, providing you some additional features. Huawei Mate X2's body is newer than Sony Xperia Z5's, but it's just a little thicker and noticeably heavier.
Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z5 features a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
Huawei Mate X2 features just a bit better camera than Xperia Z5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
