Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Xperia Z5 Premium, with a score of 89.1 against 79.8. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has a newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, offering a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Huawei Mate X2 body is noticeably newer than Xperia Z5 Premium's, but it's a little thicker and incredibly heavier.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with more RAM. Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a way better amount of pixels per screen inch.
Huawei Mate X2 features a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with improved battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 31% larger battery size.
Huawei Mate X2 captures clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. If you want to save some money, you can get Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
