Huawei Mate 20 has a score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate X3's 74.7 overall score. Despite of the fact Huawei Mate 20 is much older and much thicker than the Huawei Mate X3, it's design is still way lighter. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and Huawei Mate X3 has HarmonyOS 3 operating system.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a very superior CPU than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei Mate 20 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2244px, a little smaller display and a bit worse pixels density.
Huawei Mate X3 has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. Huawei Mate X3 features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate X3 also has higher 60 fps video frame rates and a back facing camera with a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution.
