Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate X3's general score of 74.7. The Huawei Mate 8 body is extremely lighter than Huawei Mate X3, but it is much thicker and was released 7 years before. Huawei Mate 8 has a very superior hardware performance than Huawei Mate X3, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a way lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, a just a bit lower screen pixels density and a much smaller screen. The Huawei Mate X3 takes way better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera, a much better (4K) video resolution and a larger camera aperture for better images and video in low light environments.
Huawei Mate X3 counts with a little bit better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei Mate X3 features greater battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
