The Huawei P40 Pro is better than Huawei Mate X3, with an 88.2 score against 74.7. The Huawei P40 Pro has Android 10 operating system, and Huawei Mate X3 counts with HarmonyOS 3 operating system. Huawei P40 Pro's construction is somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate X3, although it is a lot thicker and was released 3 years before.

Huawei P40 Pro shoots better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same resolution camera.
