Motorola Edge 40 Pro is much better than Huawei Mate X3, having a general score of 83.4 against 74.7. Although Motorola Edge 40 Pro and the Huawei Mate X3 were only released with a few months difference, Motorola Edge 40 Pro's body is somewhat lighter but incredibly thicker. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro comes with Android 13 OS, while Huawei Mate X3 works with HarmonyOS 3 OS.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a better looking display than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a quite inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's CPU is just as good as Huawei Mate X3's processing unit, and although the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X3, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture and a back facing camera with a 50 megapixels, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
