Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate X3's score of 74.7. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with Android 5.0 OS, and Huawei Mate X3 counts with HarmonyOS 3 OS. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is extremely older and noticeably thicker than the Huawei Mate X3, it's construction is still extremely lighter.
The Galaxy Note 3 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a little bit lower pixels density, a much smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a very superior processing power than Huawei Mate X3, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 5 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

The Huawei Mate X3 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 50 percent more battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate X3 captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate X3 also has faster video frame rates, a larger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
