Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is much better than the Huawei Mate X3, with an 83 score against 74.7. Galaxy Note8 works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, while Huawei Mate X3 has HarmonyOS 3 OS. Even though the Galaxy Note8 is notably older and thicker than Huawei Mate X3, it's design is still lighter.
Galaxy Note8 has a much better display than Huawei Mate X3, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater display density. The Galaxy Note8 features a much faster CPU than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Huawei Mate X3 features a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate X3 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for shooting images and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate X3 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back camera and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Huawei Mate X3 features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.
