Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III is way better than the Huawei Mate X3, getting a 93.3 score against 74.7. Sony Xperia 1 III comes with Android 11 operating system, while Huawei Mate X3 has HarmonyOS 3 operating system. The Sony Xperia 1 III is an older and a lot thicker phone than Huawei Mate X3, but Sony managed to make it a lot lighter anyway.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much better looking display than Huawei Mate X3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a slightly higher resolution of 1644 x 3840. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much better hardware performance than Huawei Mate X3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate X3 has a little bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and video and worse 60 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate X3 also counts with a back camera with a much better 50 MP resolution.
The Xperia 1 III has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Mate X3, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 III also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB. Huawei Mate X3 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia 1 III, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
