Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than Huawei Mate X3, having a score of 83.3 against 74.7. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 operating system, while Huawei Mate X3 counts with HarmonyOS 3 operating system. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is an extremely older and noticeably thicker device than Huawei Mate X3, but Xiaomi managed to make it way lighter anyway.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a little bit worse pixels amount per inch of screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2248 and a really smaller screen. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much faster processing unit than Huawei Mate X3, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Huawei Mate X3 takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate X3 also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a back camera with much more MP. The Xiaomi Mi 8's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Huawei Mate X3 one, both of them have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X3 has a superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity.
