The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate X3, getting a score of 77.5 against 74.7. Despite of the fact the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is incredibly older and way thicker than Huawei Mate X3, it's body is still lighter. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a display that's very similar to the Huawei Mate X3 one, although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a quite smaller screen, a lot lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little worse screen density.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better performing processor than Huawei Mate X3, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Huawei Mate X3 counts with slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate X3 captures much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate X3 also has higher video frame rates, a bigger camera aperture and a camera with much more MP. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate X3, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 4800mAh.
