Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is much better than Huawei Mate X3, with a 91.5 score against 74.7. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer and the Huawei Mate X3 were released only a couple months apart, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's body is somewhat lighter but also much thicker. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer comes with Android 12 OS, while Huawei Mate X3 counts with HarmonyOS 3 OS.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a much better looking display than Huawei Mate X3, although it has a just a little worse screen density, a way worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a way better hardware performance than Huawei Mate X3. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer and Huawei Mate X3 both have very similar memory for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X3 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate X3, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light captures.
