Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate Xs 2's 72.6 global score. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with Android 8.0 Oreo OS, and Huawei Mate Xs 2 has HarmonyOS OS. Despite of the fact the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is extremely older and much thicker than the Huawei Mate Xs 2, it's body is still notably lighter.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate Xs 2, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels number in each inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro captures a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photographs and/or video in low light environments and a much less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 counts with a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 15 percent more battery capacity.
