Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than Huawei Mate Xs 2, getting a global score of 77.5 against 72.6. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a notably older and notably thicker phone than the Huawei Mate Xs 2, but Xiaomi could make it somewhat lighter anyway. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Huawei Mate Xs 2 both feature quite similar displays, although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little smaller display, a little bit less pixels per inch of screen and a way lower 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 counts with slightly more storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better performing CPU than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate Xs 2, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4600mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking images or video in low-light situations and a way lower resolution camera in the back.
