Comparison review
The Huawei Mate Xs is better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a general score of 91.6 against 78.7. Huawei Mate Xs's construction is way newer, but a lot thicker and noticeably heavier than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The Huawei Mate Xs features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate Xs also has more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a little bit worse 1440 x 2560px resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen. Huawei Mate Xs counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 384 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate Xs features just a bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. Huawei Mate Xs takes better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate Xs also has a back camera with a lot higher 40 megapixels resolution, a much bigger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.
