Comparison review
The Huawei Mate Xs is just a bit better than Huawei P40, getting a 91.6 score against 86.4. The Huawei Mate Xs design is noticeably thicker and much heavier than Huawei P40. Huawei P40 counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the Huawei Mate Xs one, and although the Huawei P40 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Huawei P40 and Huawei Mate Xs both have extremely similar displays, because although the Huawei P40 has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixels density. The Huawei P40 captures much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light captures, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution, faster 60 fps video frame rates and a lot larger back camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photos.
The Huawei Mate Xs features a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, because it has 512 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate Xs counts with a little longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has an 18% bigger battery capacity.
