Comparison review
Huawei Mate Xs is much better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting a overall score of 91.6 against 82.2. The Huawei Mate Xs construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also incredibly heavier than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Huawei Mate Xs have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much greater display density and a better 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Huawei Mate Xs features a superior memory to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Huawei Mate Xs captures slightly better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate Xs also has a much higher 40 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei Mate Xs features longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 27 percent bigger battery size.
