Samsung Galaxy A42 is slightly better than the Huawei nova 10, getting a score of 87 against 79.2. Despite being the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy A42 body is older, a lot thicker and heavier than the Huawei nova 10. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11 operating system, and Huawei nova 10 comes with Android operating system.
The Huawei nova 10 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has more pixels per display inch, a bit bigger display and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Huawei nova 10 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei nova 10 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy A42 has a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei nova 10, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A42 features superior battery performance than Huawei nova 10, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy A42 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei nova 10, because although it has a lesser mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light environments.
