The Huawei Mate 30 5G is much better than the Huawei nova 2 Plus, with an 87.4 score against 74.2. Although Huawei Mate 30 5G is noticeably newer than Huawei nova 2 Plus, it is thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 5G has 10 version and Huawei nova 2 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.

Huawei Mate 30 5G has a bit superior CPU than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 30 5G shoots way better photographs and videos than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have the same aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also has a way more MP camera in the back and a way higher video definition.
