Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a global score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than the Huawei nova 2 Plus's general score of 74.2. Although Samsung Galaxy J8 is newer than the Huawei nova 2 Plus, it is somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy J8 has 10 version and Huawei nova 2 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei nova 2 Plus has a much better screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel count per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Galaxy J8 counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy J8 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei nova 2 Plus counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy J8 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei nova 2 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3340mAh.
The Galaxy J8 shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy J8 also has a larger aperture for better images and videos in low light situations and a way better 16 MP resolution back-facing camera.
