Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is better than Huawei nova 2 Plus's 74.2 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei nova 2 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it offers a couple nice extra features and better performance. The Galaxy Note8 is a way thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than Huawei nova 2 Plus.
Galaxy Note8 has a bit superior processing unit than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better looking screen than Huawei nova 2 Plus, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a quite larger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better camera than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture. Galaxy Note8 has just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy Note8 and Huawei nova 2 Plus count with similar battery durations, although the Galaxy Note8 has a 1 percent smaller battery size.
