Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is much better than the Huawei nova 2 Plus's general score of 74.2. Galaxy S8's design is just a little lighter but somewhat thicker than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit better screen than Huawei nova 2 Plus, because it has a little bit larger screen, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a higher count of pixels per inch of screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S8's CPU is very similar to Huawei nova 2 Plus's processor, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Huawei nova 2 Plus counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has an 11% larger battery capacity. Galaxy S8 has a slightly better camera than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S8 also has a bigger aperture for better low light images and video and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
