Comparison review
Xperia Z5 has a general score of 77.6, which is a bit better than Huawei nova 2 Plus's 74.2 score. Xperia Z5 is an older and a little thicker phone than the Huawei nova 2 Plus, but Sony managed to build it a bit lighter anyway. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 has 5.1 version while Huawei nova 2 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Xperia Z5 has a much better looking display than Huawei nova 2 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a little greater pixels number per screen inch. The Huawei nova 2 Plus has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has an external memory slot that holds 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better performance than Huawei nova 2 Plus, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Huawei nova 2 Plus features just a bit better battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 15 percent bigger battery capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 captures better videos and photos than Huawei nova 2 Plus, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution.
