HTC One M9 is slightly better than the Huawei nova 2, getting a global score of 77.7 against 74.2. Even being the best in this comparison review, it must be told that it is also extremely older, a lot thicker and just a bit heavier. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but the HTC One M9 has 5.0 version while Huawei nova 2 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The HTC One M9 has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei nova 2, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. The HTC One M9 features a much better looking display than Huawei nova 2. Both have a same size screen, a greater number of pixels per inch of display and an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
HTC One M9 captures better photographs and videos than Huawei nova 2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a back camera with a way higher 20 MP resolution and a much higher video resolution. Huawei nova 2 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Huawei nova 2 also has more internal storage capacity.
Huawei nova 2 features a bit longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 2950mAh battery capacity.
