Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is a little bit better than the Huawei nova 2, with a general score of 77.4 against 74.2. Although Huawei Mate 8 is better than the Huawei nova 2, it must be noted that it's also an older, thicker and notably heavier device. The Huawei nova 2 has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Huawei nova 2 also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 8's CPU is very similar to the Huawei nova 2 one, they have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cpu cores. Huawei Mate 8 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 8 features greater battery lifetime than Huawei nova 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 8 has a slightly better camera than Huawei nova 2, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much more mega pixels camera.
