Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 (2018) is just a bit better than Huawei nova 2, getting a general score of 79.2 against 74.2. Despite being the best we compare here, we must highlight that it's also a somewhat heavier and thicker phone. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Huawei nova 2 feature extremely similar displays, and although the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a little bit higher 1080 x 2220 resolution and a little bit larger screen, they both have the same number of pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei nova 2 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a bit more memory for apps and games than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB.
Huawei nova 2 and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) have similar battery durations, although the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2950mAh.
