The Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Huawei nova 2's 74.2 general score. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, the Galaxy Note3 design is much older, somewhat heavier and thicker than Huawei nova 2. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note3 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Huawei nova 2 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Huawei nova 2 has a bit better performance than Galaxy Note3, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster) and 1 GB more RAM memory. Huawei nova 2 features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Huawei nova 2 also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch.
Samsung Galaxy Note3 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei nova 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and video, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality and a higher resolution camera in the back. The Huawei nova 2 has a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei nova 2 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Note3 features a bit better battery duration than Huawei nova 2, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity against 2950mAh.
