The Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than Huawei nova 2, getting an 80.8 score against 74.2. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Galaxy S5 construction is older, thicker and a bit heavier than Huawei nova 2. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 has older 4.4.2 version while Huawei nova 2 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei nova 2, because although it has 4 less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter display than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S5 also has a little bigger display and more pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei nova 2 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei nova 2 also has more internal memory. Galaxy S5 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei nova 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking images or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a lot better 16 MP resolution camera in the back and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Huawei nova 2 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 2950mAh of battery capacity.
