Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has an overall score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 2's global score of 74.2. Despite being the best phone in this review, we must note that it is also an older, extremely thicker and much heavier phone. The Galaxy S7 Active has a more vivid display than Huawei nova 2, because it has a quite bigger display, more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Huawei nova 2 features a bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has an external memory slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Huawei nova 2 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei nova 2 also has a greater number of cores (and faster).
The Galaxy S7 Active has a bit better camera than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have a 12 megapixels camera in the back, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a way better (4K) video resolution and a larger camera aperture. Galaxy S7 Active has greater battery lifetime than Huawei nova 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 2950mAh.
