Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than Huawei nova 2, getting a 78.1 score against 74.2. Galaxy XCover 5's construction is much newer, but heavier and notably thicker than the Huawei nova 2. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the previous 11 version and Huawei nova 2 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
Huawei nova 2 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy XCover 5. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores. The Huawei nova 2 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a better count of pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a much better storage to install applications and games than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1 TB. Galaxy XCover 5 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei nova 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same camera aperture, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a lot better 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's battery duration is just as good as Huawei nova 2's battery life, although the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a 3000mAh battery size.
