Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 3's score of 76.3. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has older 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is better than Huawei nova 3, we must highlight that it is also an older, a little heavier and a little bit thicker phone.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a CPU that is just as good as Huawei nova 3's processing unit, both of them have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little more vivid screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Huawei nova 3 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei nova 3 also has a bigger aperture to capture better photography in low-light situations and a camera with lot more megapixels.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei nova 3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
