Comparison review
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a global score of 76.5, which is slightly better than the Huawei nova 3's score of 76.3. These phones have Android operating system, but Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Although the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is newer than the Huawei nova 3, it's somewhat thicker and a bit heavier.
Huawei nova 3 features a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels number in each inch of display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has as much memory capacity to install games and applications as Huawei nova 3, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with just a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei nova 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei nova 3 has a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a same resolution back camera and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Huawei nova 3 also has a much higher (4K) video quality.
