Motorola Edge 40 Pro is just a bit better than Huawei nova 3, having an 83.4 score against 76.3. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has 13 version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's construction is incredibly newer, but thicker and heavier than Huawei nova 3.
Huawei nova 3 has a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a little sharper screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bit larger display.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a way higher video definition and a much better resolution back camera. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei nova 3, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with better battery life than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 4600mAh battery size against 3750mAh.
