The Xiaomi 12 is a bit better than Huawei nova 3, having a overall score of 78.8 against 76.3. Xiaomi 12's design is noticeably newer than the Huawei nova 3's, although it is just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi 12 has older 12 version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Xiaomi 12 features just a bit better screen than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi 12 also has a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little better screen pixel density. Huawei nova 3 counts with a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei nova 3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei nova 3 counts with a lot better processing power than Xiaomi 12, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi 12 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light images, it also counts with a camera with lot more mega pixels and a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
Xiaomi 12 features superior battery performance than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
