Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max is slightly better than the Huawei nova 3, having a 77.5 score against 76.3. Even being the best in this review, the Xiaomi Mi Max construction is much older, heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei nova 3. Huawei nova 3 features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei nova 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little greater pixel density. The Huawei nova 3 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei nova 3 also has a larger camera aperture to take better photography in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Max's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the Huawei nova 3 one, both have the same internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max has improved battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 4850mAh battery size instead of 3750mAh.
