Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than Huawei nova 3i's general score of 73.7. Despite being the best phone in this review, the Huawei Mate 8 design is older, a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Huawei nova 3i. The Huawei nova 3i has a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit larger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei nova 3i features just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei nova 3i also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 8 has a little faster processor than Huawei nova 3i. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.
The Huawei Mate 8 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei nova 3i, and although they both have a 16 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 8 also has higher 60 fps video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited situations.
The Huawei Mate 8 has improved battery lifetime than Huawei nova 3i, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
