The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has an overall score of 76.5, which is a bit better than Huawei nova 3i's 73.7 global score. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei nova 3i has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Even though the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is newer than the Huawei nova 3i, it's just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier.
The Huawei nova 3i counts with a little bit better display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels per screen inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s CPU is just as good as the CPU in Huawei nova 3i, they have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei nova 3i and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) feature very similar memory to store more apps and games, both have equal internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei nova 3i, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 16 megapixels resolution, the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a larger aperture.
