Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is much better than the Huawei nova 3i's 73.7 score. Samsung Galaxy Note8's construction is older, heavier and somewhat thicker than the Huawei nova 3i. Both devices we are comparing here use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Huawei nova 3i has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Galaxy Note8 has a little more vivid display than Huawei nova 3i, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better performance than Huawei nova 3i, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy Note8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Huawei nova 3i, because although it has a way less megapixels camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution and a way larger aperture to take better low light captures and videos. The Huawei nova 3i counts with much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Huawei nova 3i also has more internal memory.
Huawei nova 3i and Galaxy Note8 feature similar battery durations, although the Galaxy Note8 has a 1 percent lower battery capacity.
