IPhone 11 Pro Max is a bit better than the Huawei nova 5T, having a general score of 85.3 against 80.8. IPhone 11 Pro Max counts with iOS 15.x operating system, and Huawei nova 5T comes with Android 10 operating system. IPhone 11 Pro Max is better than the Huawei nova 5T, we must tell that it's also a noticeably heavier and a little thicker phone.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has lesser cpu cores and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with a brighter display than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a slightly better 1242 x 2688 resolution, a little bit larger screen and a just a little greater pixels number in each inch of display.
The Huawei nova 5T shoots better photographs and videos than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera and a lot bigger sensor.

Although iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei nova 5T. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 11 Pro Max, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei nova 5T, resigning a couple features and specs.
