Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 5T's general score of 80.8. Despite being the best phone we compare here, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an older, just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier phone than the Huawei nova 5T. The Huawei nova 5T and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro both feature quite similar processing units, both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a little bigger display and a better pixel amount in each inch in the screen. Huawei nova 5T and Huawei Mate 20 Pro both feature extremely similar storage capacity to install games and applications, both have exactly the same internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit longer battery life than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 4200mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a camera that's just as good as the Huawei nova 5T one, because although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a back-facing camera with lesser megapixels resolution and a lower video quality, and they both have a same size aperture, it also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing better quality photographs and videos.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs more than Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei nova 5T. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Huawei nova 5T, resigning a couple specs and features.
