The Huawei nova 5T is slightly better than the Huawei P Smart (2020), getting a overall score of 80.8 against 77.5. Although the Huawei nova 5T and the Huawei P Smart (2020) were only released 8 months apart, the Huawei nova 5T design is a little heavier but just a bit thinner. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei nova 5T has 10 version and Huawei P Smart (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei nova 5T has a little faster CPU than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei nova 5T also has 2 GB more RAM. Huawei nova 5T has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P Smart (2020), because although it has a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a quite larger screen.
The Huawei nova 5T features a way better camera than Huawei P Smart (2020), and although they both have the same aperture, the Huawei nova 5T also has a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
