The LG G8S ThinQ is a little bit better than Huawei nova 5T, getting a global score of 82.5 against 80.8. LG G8S ThinQ's design has the same thickness than Huawei nova 5T, but it's a bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei nova 5T has Android 10 version, providing some additional features.
LG G8S ThinQ features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei nova 5T. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei nova 5T and LG G8S ThinQ have incredibly similar displays, although the LG G8S ThinQ has a little less pixels per screen inch, a quite smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248.
LG G8S ThinQ has much more memory for apps and games than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei nova 5T counts with just a bit better battery life than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity instead of 3550mAh.
Huawei nova 5T shoots much better pictures and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same size aperture, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
