Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Huawei nova 5T, having an 87 score against 80.8. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is newer, but just a little thicker and just a little heavier than the Huawei nova 5T. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has 11 version while Huawei nova 5T has Android 10 version, so it provides some extra features and performance enhancements.
The Huawei nova 5T has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per display inch and a much better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei nova 5T counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei nova 5T also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A42 counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Huawei nova 5T counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera in the back, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy A42 counts with improved battery life than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 33% greater battery size.
