Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Huawei nova 5T's 80.8 overall score. Despite being the best in this review, the Sony Xperia 1 construction is just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Huawei nova 5T. The Sony Xperia 1 has a brighter display than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a bit bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot higher pixels number per inch in the display.
Sony Xperia 1 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xperia 1 features a little bit better processing power than Huawei nova 5T. Both have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Huawei nova 5T counts with just a bit better battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. Huawei nova 5T shoots better videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a way larger back camera sensor, a camera with way more mega pixels and better 30 frames per second video frame rates.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei nova 5T. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Huawei nova 5T, giving up some specifications.
