Comparison review
The Huawei nova 5T is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with an 80.8 score against 79. Although Huawei nova 5T and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released with only a few months difference, Huawei nova 5T is lighter and thinner. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Huawei nova 5T has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11.
The Huawei nova 5T features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei nova 5T also has more RAM memory. The Huawei nova 5T features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count per inch of screen.
Huawei nova 5T and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S count with incredibly similar cameras, they have a same size back camera sensor, a same size camera aperture, the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 48 MP back camera. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a quite bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has improved battery performance than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 34% bigger battery size.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei nova 5T, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning a couple specs and features.
