Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than Huawei nova 9 Pro's 79.3 overall score. Although it's the best device in this review, the Huawei Mate 20 is a way older, a little bit thicker and a little heavier device than Huawei nova 9 Pro. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and Huawei nova 9 Pro has HarmonyOS 2 operating system.
The Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei nova 9 Pro both count with really similar processors, and although the Huawei Mate 20 has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei nova 9 Pro, although it has a little lower pixels density, a bit lower 1080 x 2244 resolution and a little smaller display.
Huawei Mate 20's storage capacity for games and applications is very similar to the Huawei nova 9 Pro one, both of them have the same internal storage. The Huawei Mate 20's battery life is just as good as Huawei nova 9 Pro's battery lifetime. Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better camera than Huawei nova 9 Pro, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 12 megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photography and videos.
