Galaxy A9 (2018) is just a bit better than Huawei nova 9 Pro, getting a score of 85.2 against 79.3. Galaxy A9 (2018)'s design has the same thickness than Huawei nova 9 Pro, but it's just a little lighter. The Huawei nova 9 Pro has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei nova 9 Pro also has more RAM.
Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with a little bit better screen than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen, a quite bigger display and a bit higher 1236 x 2676px resolution.
