Huawei nova 9 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a general score of 79.3 against 77.5. Even though the Huawei nova 9 Pro is a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's lighter and incredibly newer. The Huawei nova 9 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a greater pixels density and a higher resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei nova 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 128 GB.
