Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is slightly better than the Huawei nova 9 Pro, getting an 81.1 score against 79.3. Although it's the best in this review, we must tell that it's also older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro works with Android 10 OS, and Huawei nova 9 Pro works with HarmonyOS 2 OS.
Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei nova 9 Pro also has a bit higher resolution of 1236 x 2676px and a little bit higher screen pixels density. The Huawei nova 9 Pro has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei nova 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a greater storage for games and applications than Huawei nova 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has longer battery duration than Huawei nova 9 Pro, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei nova 9 Pro, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.
