The Huawei Nova 9 has a general score of 81, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge's global score of 78.1. Although Huawei Nova 9 is extremely newer than Galaxy S7 edge, it's just a little bit thicker and heavier. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Nova 9 has an older 11 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little bit better screen than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei Nova 9 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.
Huawei Nova 9 features a superior camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Nova 9 also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera.
Huawei Nova 9 features a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
